Sledding!
I was more into eating the snow, than sledding on it, to tell you the absolute truth. But our new sled is pretty fun, afterall. (Mama says to please note the "sock mittens." I don't care for mass-marketed mittons. Too confining. And that whole "get-the-thumb-into-the-tumb-slot-thing is ridiulous. I rock the socks.

Don't Drink That, Ellie!
"OK, now I know all you parents are the right kind of parents. So, I'm going to be perfectly frank..."
How do you make your children NOT drink the water? This isn't so bad, but bath water? And believe me, this one guzzles gallons. Gallons. Surpised we haven't had to deal with tapeworms or other African-type water-borne diseases. What can I say? She loves it. Something so satisfying about pouring your own water and then drinking it out of a ladle. Yummy!

I'm Workin' on It!
OK, so this is my latest project. Actually, it's a theme in the house at the moment. Frances is giving me some of her big sister-ly expertise. Mama hopes that the potty training spirit rubs off on everybody....er hmmm. You'll see what we mean in the next post...
Introducing!...
The newest member of the Gonsalves family: CHICKPEA!!
We adopted her about a week ago now and she's already found a way securely into our hearts.
She's my friend!
Highlights Magazine Rocks!
For Christmas, we got a subscription to Highlights. Let me tell you: it's so cool!
It's not just hidden pictures--it's crafty, too. There were instructions on how to make these nifty hats.
Also recipes:Sunshine Salad!
Yum! Yum!

Santa came to Mimi and Papa's
I say we got our "just desserts". Thanks, Santa (and Mimi and Papa, and Grandpa and Grandma, and Nana and Aunt Kat......and everyone!)

A Day at the Orchard (last Fall)
Hey--don't these pictures make you feel nice and warm? We went to an apple orchard back when we just moved in. It was fun. Sure wish we could go outside every once in a while now....sigh.
Mom is totally rockin' this collage feature. She told me to ask your forgiveness.

Deike Family Gathering
My Great Grandpa had a Birthday last summer. It was fun to see everyone again and especially to eat cake! Braidon came to visit later. Isn't he cute?
Friendly Visits
Here are some of my buds. Upper Left is our friend Zeke. The other kidlets are our lovely nabes Gabe and Baby Pheobe (aka "Toots MacGee")
I Forgot to Tell Yas!
We Moved! I forgot to mention it. But since I really have only vague concepts of time, I guess it's fitting! That's our new house taken when we moved in (in Sept.) Below is after we moved in a bit, Frances and I taking our meals in the kitchen. We love our home!
Thanksgiving Impressions
Mama and Dada took us to New York for Thanksgiving. And was it fun!
I loved seeing all my "uncles" and hanging with Nana. We went to the playground and had some killer games of Candy Land. Can't wait to do it again!

Monkey Shines
Have you ever seen a cuter monkey? Seriously? Halloween pictures? C'mon, Mama. It's January. Anyway, I had lots of fun on Halloween. I borrowed the costume from our neighbor, Gabey. Mama "girlified" it for me (see bows). The best part, of course was the candy. The worst part (of course) was the going from door to door. Mama said I threw a tantrum kicking and laying down at the bottom step when it was suggested that I go from door to door asking for candy.
I say that I was just airing my opinion. Afterall, isn't it muuuuch easier to have the candy come to you than to actually go get the candy? Work smarter, not harder, peeps. Besides, Mama needed her "helper monkey" to open the door for the other Trick-or-Treaters. There's always next year.
Jail Bird
Conditions is tough here at "Casa del Gonsalves"
Check out the warden on the right. The poor prisoner has only a scarf to keep her warm. And look! Dangerously close to outlets. Hmmm. This "pen" needs serious baby proofing. I'm calling CPS...

We had a great visit with the grandparents! They are so fun! We even went out to eat. Did you hear me? Out to eat?

My Current Favorite Pastime...
What a perfect hiding spot. The only thing that gives me away is all the pots and pans strewn about.

Another One?!!
Something Old and Something New
See the totally cute dolly bed Mama thrifted? Sissy and I love to put our "babies" in there and cover them over with napkins for cozy sleeping. Then, of course it's so fun to "shush" everyone. "Baby Night-Night!"
Ahhhhh....Summer's Here!

Another Messy Breakfast
Honestly, I think CoCo Wheat is more relentless than sand on a beach--it seems to get into EVERY crevice!
A Picnic Alfresco
Even during a picnic I must be "buckled in" as Franny says. Sigh. At least the weather is gorgy!! Driving in the mini-van for hours does have its perks: stopping for picnics is fun. Also, I love to practice my walkin' skills.
Splashy Fun!
Check out the walking in order to reach the leaves! Ever heard of dangling a carrot? Well, this is our version. And, after repeated warnings of "don't drink that water, 'Nel!" her mother gave up.
Ride 'Em, Chickee!
Seriously. Usually I use the captions to kind of help the comedy/cuteness along. But seriously, do these pics even need that?
I was just saying to these childrens' Memmie that I'm glad no one outside our circle of family really reads this blog. If they did, they might find the mother an outrageous braggart. But, since the fam. all agrees on the adorability of these kids, I need not hold back. Preaching to the choir = a good thing.
